You'll notice that The Mousetrap has two scenes in Act One, then Act Two is all one scene, for a total of three. Thats fine for the program, but for rehearsal we need to divide it into smaller chunks!
We have broken the play down into French Scenes. (Like fried potatoes, this is one of their really good ideas.) Every time someone enters or exits, a new French Scene begins. Use this chart to see how it works. The way we've organized it, there are 43 French scenes in this 65-page play.
