Due January 9

On Tuesday, January 8, you will turn in your Vocabulary List with definitions. Here is how the assignment works.

• During the table read on Monday, you will write down or highlight all vocabulary words (words with meanings you're not sure of).
  
  
• Make a list on a separate document -- handwritten or on computer -- of all these words.
  
  
• Look up the definitions of each word. I like dictionary.com, but there is also a good site for Websters Online, and for some of the weirder colloquialisms, you might try Wikipedia.
  
  
• On your vocabulary list, provide a short definition. Please do not paste the definition from the dictionary. Put it in your own words as best you can.

On Wednesday morning you will turn in your completed list of words and definitions.
